Steering Committee Membership

Steering Committee is the governing policy board for the project and is composed of those partners in the project who share fiscal responsibility.

Steering Committee Role

• oversees the policy and development issues for the kiosk program,
• integrates the kiosk program (content, role, and presentation) with other citizen-centered information sources and technologies, both those which are jurisdiction-specific and those which are cross-jurisdictional,
• develops targeted marketing, publicity, and other awareness programs,
• seeks adequate funding for the project through budget, grant, partnership, and revenue generating sources,
• sets priorities,
• establishes partnerships with other jurisdictions,
• liaisons with the respective County Executives, Managers, Mayors, and elected officials, and
• approves criteria for revenue participants (private sector, for-profit organizations).
